Portrait Photography
My first goal with every portrait session is to capture the moment for you. I do that by getting to know you so I can showcase that in your images. I believe that if we get to know each other a little beforehand, the session's are much more relaxed and go much smoother as each of us know what to expect from the other. This relaxed atmosphere always leads to better images. Always.
A Typical Portrait Session with John Stagl Photography
Prior to booking your session, we'll discuss a number of things including what you can expect during the session, where and when to have it, what to wear, and most importantly answer any questions or concerns you may have. This can be done however is easiest for you, over the phone, in person, and/or via email.
At our pre-session meeting, we will go through the contract and answer any questions you may have. A small deposit is required to schedule your session. This deposit is due at the time of booking and may be paid by credit card, check, or cash and your desired session date will be considered booked and on my calendar. After I have applied some basic edits to your portraits, I will have them printed as proofs. As soon as they arrive I'll deliver them to you along with a list of current photography collections. This way you can take your time viewing your portraits and determine which are your favorites and which collection works best for you. Once you have decided on your favorites we'll schedule an Ordering Session to discuss which collection best meets your needs.
After the Ordering Session I upload your portraits into a password-protected online gallery for your viewing. If the collection you've selected includes Digital Images, a download link will also be provided from your gallery. All of your portraits will then be available for download in a high-resolution format which is perfect for printing on your own or sharing digitally. Payment for your Photography Collection is due at the time of ordering.
As soon as your order arrives back from the lab I will hand deliver your portraits to you. If you ever have any questions about your portraits or anything else, I am more than willing to help in any way I can.
